Higher Diploma
The Higher Diploma in Sport and Active Leisure includes generic content to establish a range of skills, knowledge and understanding around related industries.
It will require a more technical understanding and may focus on different business functions. Topics covered range from running a business in the sport and active leisure industry to developing interpersonal skills and customer service. Again this Higher level Diploma can give students the opportunity to enter employment in roles such as a fitness instructor, caravan park assistant or youth support worker, or apprenticeships in outdoor education, equine or amenity horticulture. Further education pathways are also available in many areas.
